Orient is small, and this is the center of the village. Delicious sandwiches and the cakes and pies and other baked goods are unbeatable.

Good food and a cozy little store. It's a great place to ride bikes to and stop for breakfast or lunch. Two breakfast sandwiches with an iced coffee and bottle of iced tea were $17.50 so prices are maybe slightly higher than average but worth it. They also make their own hot sauce and pico de gallo which are both amazing!
A hidden gem in the far east. Whether you are winery hopping, on your way to the ferry, or headed to Orient state park you owe it to yourself to stop in at the Orient Country Store. It is nestled in the quaint Village of Orient, way out, on the north fork of Long Island. It's owners Miriam and Grayson provide amazing food in addition to various sundries you may need for your day at the beach. I highly recommend the house made pastrami reuben with red cabbage slaw! Out of this world. And if you don't try the baked goods you are missing out. The crispy oatmeal cookies with sea salt are amazing. I have never had a bad meal. This is a truly special place.
